<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 72- ~Q.S'" <br />PAGE 2 <br />Section 3. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that all full <br />time employees of the Building Department having completed five (5) years of full <br />time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall be paid an additional <br />3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full time <br />continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4% of their base annual <br />salary, thereafter until the completion of the fifteenth (15) year of continuous full <br />time service, and thereafter 5% of their base annual salary until after the completion <br />of the twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service, and during each year of <br />full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as <br />longevity increments. <br />Section 4. In computing length of service for <br />of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit <br />services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of <br />ments, and the exclusion for part-time service shall not <br />any other benefits which may be due them for part-time s. <br />Building Department. <br />the purpose of making payments <br />shall be given for part-time <br />computing longevity incre- <br />deprive any employee of <br />:rvice, as employees of the <br />Section 5. The secretarial and clerical help of the Building Department of <br />the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. <br />This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly <br />salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, at the rate of $25.00 for each and <br />every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of <br />North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on each anniversary date of employment. <br />Section 6. That the employees of the Building Department shall not be re- <br />quired to work the following holidays, unless requested to work by the Building <br />Commissioner in an emergency: New Year's Day: Memorial Day: Independence Day: <br />Labor Day: Thanksgiving Day: Christmas Day: and the employee's birthday. <br />Section 7. That all full time employees of the Building Department shall <br />be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 8. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons rate <br />towards the purchase of hospitalization with the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual <br />Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contracts 53 YK and 57 ZK, for all secretarial <br />and clerical employees of the Building Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />That for the Building Commissioner and for each full time Inspector of the <br />Building Department, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount single <br />persons rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the <br />Building Department, and in the event the Commissioner of Inspectors, who are full time <br />employees of the Building Department, are married or are the head of the family the <br />City of North Olmsted shall contribute an additional. sum of $350.00 per year towards <br />the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual, both <br />single persons hospitalization and family hospitalization plans shall be established <br />by Contracts 53 YK and 57 ZK. <br />Section 9. That any bbher ordinances, or resolutions, or parts of ordinances, <br />or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, and <br />especially Ordinance No. 72-74, enacted June 20, 1972, are hereby repealed with the <br />effective date of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />
