:~ <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 72-~©D PAGE 2 <br />That for the Director of Public Service and the Administrative <br />Assistant the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single persons rate, <br />of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Administration <br />Department, and in the event any full time employees of the Administration Department <br />is married or fs the head of the family the City. of forth Olmsted shall contribute an <br />additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of a family hospitalization plan <br />with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual, both single persons hospitalization and family <br />hospitalization plans shall be established by Contract S3YK and 578K, elected officals <br />excluded. <br />Section 5. That all full time employees of the Administration Department shall <br />receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by the Mayor in emergencies, <br />and shall receive rQgaige rate of .pay ;New Year's Day ; Memorial Day ;' Independence <br />Day ;Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day ;Christmas Day ;and the employee's birthday. <br />Section 6. That all full time employees of the Administration Department shall <br />be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service . <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service . <br />Section 7. That the purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the Administratiiom- <br />Department and the salaries to be paid, which shall not in any way be construed as <br />limiting the authority of the Mayor for the City of North Olmsted, as esta}~. ished by <br />the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy of <br />this Ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its passage in ord=r that <br />the Director of Finance can. pay the compensation, as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 8. That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts <br />of resolutions, and especailly Ordinance No. 72-7~ , enacted Jua~e 6, 1972, incon- <br />sistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed with the effective <br />date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 10. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservat~+~r= of the public peace, safety, health and <br />and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that the Director of Public Safety is <br />needed immediately for the benefit of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens <br />of the City of North Olmsted.
