<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 72=~~ <br />BY ~~~ - . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 64-$5 <br />ESTABLISHING TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCE <br />FOR USE OF PERSONAL AUTOMOBILES BY <br />OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ON OFFICIAL BUSINESS AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGE13CY <br />WHEREAS, it has become necessary that officials of <br />the City of North Olmsted have had to use their personal automobiles on <br />official business; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by Council that <br />there will be use of personal automobiles on official business in the <br />future; and <br />b~BB8A8, Council has determined that in order to <br />regulate the use of personal automobiles on official city business that <br />said use should be authorized by the Mayor in writing; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the reasonable <br />value of the reimbursement to be paid to City officials using their <br />automobiles on official Cfty business shall be ten cents (10~) per mile. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That there is hereby established a <br />transportation allowance for officials of the City of North Olmsted using <br />their personal automobiles for official City business and that the amount <br />of reimbursement and the requirements to obtain reimbursement for the use <br />of personal automobiles shall be as follows: <br />A. That in order to be reimbursed for the use of <br />personal automobiles on official city business <br />said use shall be authorized by the mayor of the <br />City of North Olmsted in writing. <br />B. That the reimbursement for the use of personal <br />automobiles on official city business shall be <br />at the rate of ten cents (10~) per mile. <br />Section 2: That the transportation allowance herein <br />established shall go into effect as of the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3: WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest <br />period allow by law. <br />PASSED:T 1~ <br />ATTEST : -~J' ~j// <br />Nora T.
