CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 72 - d ~ PAGE 2 G. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees in the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished, at no cost to the employees, Accident and Health Insurance, which insurance shall pay the employee in the event he is unable to work as a result of an accident or ill health, in the sum of Forty Dollare ($40.00) per week. Said insurance shall also have accidental and death benefits with the principal sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00). The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons rate towards the purchase of hospitalization with the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contracts 53YK and 57ZK, for all secretarial and clerical employees of the Municipal Bus Line of the City of North Olmsted. The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single, persons rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Municipal Bus Line, and in the event any full time employee of the Municipal Bus Line is married or is the head of the faily +t~ie City of North Olmsted shall contribute an additional sum of $100.00 per year towards the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual, both single persons hospitalization and family hQ~pttalization plans shall be established by Contracts 53YK and57ZK. H. That all full time bus driving employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. Four (4) week vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. Section 2. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to .the provisions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No.71-55, enacted April 20, 1971, are hereby repealed with the ddfective date of this Ordinance. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance, Dftector of Service of the City of North Olmsted and a copy to the General Manager of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. Section 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure. necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact of the immediate necessity of adjusting compensation for City employees so as to make such compensation commensurate with the requirement of the various jobs. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. PASSED: .Z.. ATTEST: Nora T.
