<br />BY:__'~~ ~ _ a~s~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 72-,,~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART OF THE LAW DEPARTMENT, SETTING FORTH <br />THE COMPLEM$NT OF THE LAW DEPARTMENT, AND <br />ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF THE MEMBERS. OF <br />THE LAW DEPARTMENT, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 71-61, ENACTED APRIL 20,1971. <br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in Article V, Section 2, <br />provided for a Law Department to be headed by the Director of Law ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to adopt Organizational Charts for all employees <br />in the City of North Olmsted for the purposes of identification as to duties performed <br />and remuneration received. <br />NOW, ""PHEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the Law Department of the City of North Olmsted, as provided <br />for in Article V, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, is to be headed <br />by the Director of Law, and the employees thereof shall consist of Two (2) Assistant <br />Directors-,+~f Law, One (1) who shall serve as Police Prosecutor. <br />Section 2. That the remuneration of the Law Department shall be retroactive <br />to April 1, 1972, and be paid to the Law Department as follows : <br />Director of Law $13, 000.00 Annually <br />Assistant Director of Law (Civil) $ 4, 4~B~~~ Annually <br />Assistant Director of Law (Prosecutor) $ 3, 000.00 Annually <br />In addition, the Prosecutor shall receive an addtional compensation in the <br />amount of Fifteen Dollars $ 15.00 for each Not Guilty Plea <br />he attends to on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />Section 3. That the Director of Finance be authorized and directed to pay the <br />Director of Law the sum of $6, 330.00 per annum, payable monthly for secretarial <br />services and other general office expenses, effective April 1, 1972. <br />Section 4. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or <br />parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, and <br />especially Ordinance No. 71-61, enacted April 20, 1971, are hereby repealed with the <br />effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 5. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forward <br />a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance and the Director of Law. <br />Section 6. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at <br />the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section l~° Oaf the Charter of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />~~~ ~ ~~ <br />Nora T.
