~:: <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 72-52 <br />,:~= <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />FOR A COMBINED OR PACKAGE INSURE~NGE <br />POLICY FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLM.ST~D, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the package insurance policies covering all municipal <br />properties and operations are expiring on July 1, 1972; and <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended to Council that <br />the Director of Public Service be authorized to advertise for bids for <br />insurance coverages for the City of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVER by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for insurance coverage for all <br />municipal properties and operations according to the specifications now <br />on file in his office, and that upon the approval by the Board of Control <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of. the public peace, <br />health, safety,-and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that the <br />insurance companies must have sufficient time to investigate the insurance <br />coverage needed and prepare their bids prior to expiration of the present <br />insurance coverage. WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period <br />allowed by law. <br />PASSED: GG"~ .•L ~ ~~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> .~,~ ~ <br />Nora T.
