CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 72- ~~ AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF A POR~'ION OF A STREET PREVIOUSLY DEDICATED AS GREAT NORTHERN BOULEVARD TO VICTORIA LANE. WHEREAS, Council has been petitioned by the abutting property owners to change the name of Great Northern Boulevard to Victoria Lane from the center line of Kennedy Ridge Road in a northerly direction 667.01 feet ;and WHEREAS, the Building, Zoning and Development Committee has recommended to Council that the street name should be changed due to the fact that there is a duplication of names and two areas now have the name of Great Northern Boulevard ; and WHEREAS, Council in order to erase the duplication of names now wishes to assign identifiable names to avoid the name duplication. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio : Section 1. That Great Northern Boulevard from the centerline of Kennedy Ridge Road northerly a distance of 667.01 feet to the intersection of Country Oiub Boulevard is now changed to Victoria Lane. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Engineering Department who shall see that the necessary changes are made with the Cuyahoga County Auditor's Office and the Cuyahoga County Recorder's Office. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be directed to send a copy of this Ordinance to the Service Department with instructions that these name changes be properly recorded on street markings and street signs in the area. Section 4. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force according to Article IV, Section 12 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. PASSED:~ ~~~~..:ls.i~ /~2_~- ATTEST: `~ Nora T.
