CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 72- ~~ BY: AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF A PORTION OF A STREET PREVIOUSLY DEDICATED AS GREAT NORTHERN BOULEVARD TO COUNTRY CLUB BOULEVARD. WHEREAS, Council has been petitioned by the abutting property owners to change the name of Great Northern Boulevard tca Country Club Boulevard from the easterly right-of-way line of Victoria Lane (formerly Great Northern Boulevard ) in an easterly direction 1213.88 feet ;and WHEREAS, the Building, Zoning and Development Committee has recommended to Council that the street name should be changed due to the fact that there is a duplication of names and two areas now have the name of Great Northern Boulevard ; and WHEREAS, Council inorder to erase the duplication of names now wishes to assign identifiable names to avoid the name duplicatiol . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio : Section 1. That Great Northern Boulevard from the easterly right-of-way line of Victoria Lane (formerly Great Northern Boulevard) in a easterly direction a distance of 1213.88 feet to the easterly terminus is now changed to Country Club Boulevard. Section 2, That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Engineering Department who shall see that the necessary changes are made with tie Cuyahoga County Auditor's Office and the Cuyahoga Country Recorder's Office. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be directed to send a copy of this Ordinance to the Service Department with instructions that these name changes be properly recorded on street markings and street signs in the area. Section 4, WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force according to Article IV, Section 12 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. PASSED: ~7.~ ATTEST: Nora T.
