WHEREAS, the Finance Committee met with the Police Department, Fire Department, Service Department and Bus Department regarding wages, payment of wages and salaries schedule, WHEREAS, it was recommended and agreed that Depart- ments would be paid bi-weekly, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 71-52; Section 2 of Ordinance No. 71-49, 71-50, 71-56, 71-57, 71-58, 71-b1, 71-64, 71-149; and Section 5 of Ordinance No. 71-175 now containing the words "payable semi-monthly" to be in the same and are hereby amended to read as follows: "payable bi-weekly". Section 2: That Ordinance No. 71-55 referring to hourly paid employees and all other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances referring to hourly paid employees shall set forth a paid period to be bi-weekly. Section 3: That all pay periods of the City of North Olmsted shall be bi-weekly for all persons receiving remuneration from the City of North Olmsted. Section 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency Ordinance by virtue of the fact that it is necessary to establish the pay period immediately prior to the first pay period of January, 1972.
