,~:. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 71 - 166 <br />Page 3. <br />Section 3. That the following sums be and they are hereby <br />set aside and appropriated as follows: <br />STREET MAINTENANCE FUND <br />Workmen's Compensation 1,800.00 <br />Traffic Lights 4,000.00 <br />Total 5,800.00 <br />Section 4. That the following sums be and they are hereby <br />set aside and appropriated as follows: <br />STATE HtGMWAY FUND <br />Labor 5,000 00 <br />Materia] 5,000.00 <br />Total 10,000.00 <br />Section 5. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of the Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 6, That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized <br />to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers <br />therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by taw to approve same, <br />or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided <br />that no warrants shat} be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to <br />persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. <br />Provided, further that the appropriations for contingencies can only be <br />expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense <br />constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other <br />than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 7. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure by virtue of the fact that the appropriations of funds <br />is necessary for the financial operation of the City of Nar_th Olmsted and, <br />relates to the safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of the City of <br />North Olmsted, Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />~.~ ~ .D <br />Nora T.
