<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 71 - 153 <br />BY : ~fj <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS AND <br />MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE YEAR ENDING <br />DECEMBER 31,1971, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the Finance Director be and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />RECREATION FUND <br />$350.00 from Pool Rent to Wages <br />700.00 from Supplies to Wages <br />350.00 from Miscellaneous to Wages <br />Section 2. That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of the said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31,1971, the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and <br />appropriated as follows: <br />RECREATION FUND <br />$1,128.00 .............................Wages <br />$4,500.00 .............................Capital Improvement <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />and attested copy of the Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 4. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized <br />to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers <br />therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, <br />or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided <br />that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to <br />persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. <br />Provided, further that the appropriations for contingencies can only be <br />expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense <br />constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other <br />than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure by virtue of the fact that the appropriations of funds <br />is necessary for the financial operation of the City of North Olmsted and, <br />relates to the safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of the City of <br />North Olmsted, Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : ~%'C~rur~.~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ <br />Nora T.
