<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 71-152 <br /> <br />` .~ <br />~ <br /> _ <br /> r <br />;A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A <br />RESCUE SQUAD VEHICLE AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY . <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director of Public <br />Safety that the purchase of a Rescue Squad Vehicle is necessary; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Council in order to facilitate the health, safety, <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted desires to purchase a <br />Rescue Squad Vehicle with the aid of partial payment from the <br />Federal and State Highway funds: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Safety Director be authorized to <br />advertise for bids for sine Rescue Squad Vehicle as per detailed <br />specifications presently on file in his office, and that upon <br />approval by the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />to enter into contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted for the Rescue Squad Vehicle. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public <br />peace, health, safety and welfare, of the City by virtue of the <br />fact that funds were appropriated for use in the present year <br />budget. WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />'", <br />°_.~o <br />Nora T.
