f r. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 71- ~~p <br />J <br />By: <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,000 TONS OF <br />CINDERS AND 35,000 TONS OF SALT, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />BY IT RESOLVED By the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />STate of OHio: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he <br />is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of cinders <br />and 35,000 tons of salt for use on the streets, all in accordance <br />with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval <br />by the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into <br />a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted <br />for the said cinders and salt. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency resolution necessary for the immediate preservation of <br />the public health and safety; such necessity exists by reason of the <br />fact that snow and slept storms may soon create hazardous conditions, <br />in consequence whereof great public inconvenience would be suffered. <br />WHEREFORE this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: l~f / <br />ATTEST : `~~~!c~x-- <br />~~ <br />Nora T.
