~_ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />oRDauNCE No. ,7L-L~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ACING SECTION 2 OF 4RDINAUTCE NO. 71-93 <br />7.CJ REVISE TIDE ATE AS 0~' WHICH THE 8016 AUT~RIZED <br />THEREBY SHALL BE ISStTED, AND DECLARING AN CY. <br />WHER~;AS, this Council on July 15, 1871, passed Ordinance No. 71-93 <br />providing for the is~ua~tee of boha.s in the principal amount of 2,400 <br />for the purpose of purchasing a refase packer truck and other trucks <br />for the Service Depart~oextt of the City; and <br />WfiSREAS, this Council finds and determines that it is necessary <br />to amend Section 2 of said Ordinance to revise the date as of which the <br />bonds authorized thereby shall. be issued; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 71-93 passed June 15, <br />1971, shall be and the same hereby is amended to read in f+t7.l as follows: <br />"Section 2. Said bonds shall be issued in the principal <br />amount of $42,400 for the purpose aforesaid. The said bonds <br />shall be dated September 1, 1971, shall be issued in the de- <br />nomination of $5,000 each, except Bonds Nos. 1 and 4 which shall <br />be of the denomination of $1,000 each, shall be numbered from <br />1 to 10, both iAClusive, and shall bear interest at the rate of <br />five and one-half per centum (5-1/2~,} per annt:m, payable se~ni.- <br />annt~a].ly on the first day of June and the first day of December <br />of each year beginning June 1, 1972, until the principe~.7. swsa is <br />paid, as evidenced by the coupons attached thereto; provided, <br />however, that if the bonds are sold bearing a different rate of <br />interest than herein specified, such bonds shall bear such rate <br />of interest as may be provided in the resolutign of Council ap- <br />proving the awa~cl. thereof. Such bonds shall mature in their <br />consecutive serial order as fol.l.ows: <br />$11,000 on December 1, 1972 and 1973; and <br />$10,000 on December 1, 1gT4 and 19'(5 <br />which maturities are hereby determined to be in substantially equal <br />annual instal7.ments." <br />Section 2. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 71-93, passed dune 15, <br />1971, shall be and the same hereby is repealed. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council. is hereby autYs~rized and <br />directed to certify a copy of this ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga <br />County. <br />Section 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health and safety, of this City, sr~td for the further reason that the <br />prompt issuance of the bonds herein provided for is necessary to preserve <br />
