~` <br />av:~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-10 7 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING $150.00 FOR <br />THE NORTH OLMSTED SHOPPING CENTER <br />MUSICAL FESTIVAL PROGRAM FOR THE YEAR <br />1971, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the North Olmsted Shopping Center Musical Festival will <br />present many programs during the year 1971 for the benefit of the citizens of <br />North Olmsted ;and <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that Council <br />authorize the expenditure of $150.00 for the payment of expenses for presenting <br />the programs to the residents of North Olmsted ; and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to contribute the sum of $150.00 to defray <br />expenses incurred. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund the sum <br />of $150.00 to be forwarded on to the North Olmsted Shopping Center Musical <br />Festival, and that the Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay <br />the sum of $150.00 to the North Olmsted Shopping Center Association sponsors <br />of the Music Festival Program. <br />Section 2 . That this Resolution i s hereby determined to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety, <br />health and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that funds are sorely needed <br />immediately to present this program for the year 1971.
