', <br />CITY OF NORTH OLi~D <br />RESOLt7R'I(~N N0. .1 9~`~ <br />ffi ~ ~~~ <br />A RESOI~)TION D~CLARZI~ THE NECESSITY OF <br />CONSTRL ~ Sl'L1T+:WAI~SS ON MAPId: <br />RIDGE REtAD~ COLtTI~BIA ROADS EAST PAID DRIVE <br />AND TERRACE DRIVl~ ~ THAT AEIITTIl~G <br />PROPERTY" OWE COTRUCT '.~ SAME AND <br />DECIARIi~G AN CY. <br />Ohio; <br />BF IT RLSOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, <br />Section 1; That it is necessary to construct concrete sidewalks ixi accord- <br />ance with the plans, specifications and estimates of cost therefor prepared by <br />the City Engineer and now on file in the office of the Clerk of Council, at the <br />following locations: <br />South side of Maple Ridge Road from Columbia Road to 'Walter Road <br />West side of Columbia Road from IAxa3.n Road to Lessner Road <br />Fast side of Fast Park Drive from Lorain Road to North Park Drive <br />forth side of Terrace Drive in front of the properties identified <br />on the Cuyalzo~ga County Auditor's tax maps as Permanent <br />Parcel Na. 235-10-31 and Permanent Parcel No. 235-10-32 <br />Section 2; That the plans, specifications and estimate of cost for said <br />construction as heretofore filed be and the same are hereby approved. <br />Section 3: That the owners of all lots and lands bounding and abutting <br />upon the proposed sidewalks shall construct, in accordance with the plans and <br />specifications now on file, the portion of such sidewalks abutting on their res- <br />pective properties within a period of thirty days after service of notice of the <br />passage of this resolution; and, if such construction shall not be completed <br />within such period of thirty days, then this Council shall have the sates done <br />and the entire cost thereof shall be assessed upon the property of each default- <br />ing owner and made a lien thereon, to be collected in the manner provided by law, <br />with penalty and interest as provided by law. <br />Section ~: That the Clerk of this Council is directed to cause a written <br />notice of the passage of this resolution to be served on each affected property <br />owner as required by law. <br />Section 5: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary fox the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and <br />safety by vatrtue of the need for the iamaediate construction of such sidewalks to <br />permit safe passage by persons using said streets and to eliminate existing <br />hazards to pedestr3.aus; Wherefore, this resolution shall. be in full. force and ef- <br />fect frown and immediately after its passage and appr©val by the Mayor. <br />PASSED •/" y, 1971 <br />ATTEST: <br />j,i~~~~, <br />G,~.u.,c.J /, ti~~~c~C.L- <br />Nora .
