_a <br />?, <br />. ^ ~' <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORD I NANCE N0. 71 -88 <br />BY : ~' ;4~. <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS AND <br />MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE YEAR ENDING <br />DECEMBER 31, 1971, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the Finance Director be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />$5,000 from Inspector to Architectural Consultant <br />Section 2. That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of the said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1971, the following sums be and they are hereby set aside <br />and appropriated as follows: <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from the GENERAL FUND: <br />GENE~ItAL FUND <br />City Hall Libra ry .......................$ 100.00 <br />Engineering Refunds ..................... 200.00 <br />OFFICE EQUIPMENT REPAIR ................. 100.00 <br />Section 4. That there be appropriated from the STREET <br />MAINTENANCE FUND the following: <br />STREET MAINTENANCE FUND <br />Right of Way ............................$1,250.00 <br />Section 5. That there be appropriated from the RECREATION <br />FUND the following: <br />RECREATION FUND <br />Pool Rental .............................$1,500 <br />Bus Rental .............................. 1,525 <br />Section 6. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 7. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized <br />to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no <br />warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed <br />by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further <br />that the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon approval <br />of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal <br />obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the <br />other specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 8. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure by virtue of the fact that the appropriations of funds is <br />necessary for the financial operation of the City of North Olmsted and, <br />relates to the safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of the City of <br />North Olmsted, Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />
