'..~".1;5 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 71- ~p~ <br />BY• G~ _J. ~. ~ ~ ____. <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART OF THE LAW DEPARTMENT, SETTI1vG FORTH THE <br />COMPLEMENT OF THE LAW DEPARTMENT, AND ES- <br />TABLISHING THE SAL~FtTES OF TIE MEMBERS OF THE <br />LAW DEPARTMENT, AATD REPEALII3G ORDINANCE NO. <br />69-53, ENACTED MARCH 4, I969, AND AECLA,RING AN <br />EMERGENCY . <br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in Article V, Section <br />2, provided for a L~wv Department to he headed the the Director of Law ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to adopt Organizational Charts for all <br />employees in the City of North Olmsted for the purposes of identification as <br />to duties performed and remuneration received. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Law Department of the City of North Olmsted, as <br />provided for in Article V, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, <br />is to be headed by the Director of Law, and the employees thereof shall sonsist <br />of Two (2) Assistant Directors of Law, One (1) who shall serve as Police <br />Prosecutor. <br />Section 2. That the remuneration of the Law Department shall be as <br />follows <br />Director of Law For 1971 $lI, 000.00 Annually <br />Effective January 1,1972 and thereafter : <br />Director of Law $13, 000.00 Annually <br />Assistant Director of Law (Civil) $ 4, 200.00 Annually <br />Assistant Director of Law <br />( Prosecutor) $ 2, 400.00 Annually <br />In addition, the Prosecutor shall receive an<<additional compensation <br />in the amount of $ 12.00 for each Not Guilty Plea <br />he attends to on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. <br />Section 3. That the Director of Fiance be authorized and directed to <br />pay the Director of Law the sum of $6, 000.00 per annum, payable monthly, for <br />secretarial services and other general office expenses , effective April 1, 1971. <br />Section 4. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, <br />and especially Ordinance No. 69-53, enacted March 4, 1969, are hereby repealed <br />with the effective date of this Ordinance . <br />.. <br />
