CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. ~i -~i BY AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON CERTAIN PERMANENT PARCELS BEING AS ASSESSMENT FOR PREPARATIflN Of PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SANITARY SEWERS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Finance Director of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the preparation of plans .and specifications for sanitary sewers. That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cancel for the years 1971 through 1979, inclusive assessments in full for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers. Section 2. That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted is hereby authorized and directed to receive payments in advance on such assessments on said parcels. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio. Section 4. Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on certain permanent parcels for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers. Section 5. Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. PASSED: ~ .Z~ ~?f ATTEST: ~~~~ Nora T.
