<br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING EDMUND G. KARY
<br />ON THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE EAGLE SCOUT
<br />AWARD.
<br />WHEREAS, Council has been apprised that the Eagle Award
<br />will be presented to Edmund G. Kary, 23231 Stoneybrook Drive,
<br />North Olmsted, Ohio, on October 24, 1971, at an Eagle Court of
<br />Honor to be held at the Community Cabin, and
<br />WHEREAS, said Edmund G. Kary has attained the rank of
<br />Tenderfoot in October, 1965, Second Class in January, 1966, First Class
<br />in January, 1967, Star_ in May, 1968, Life in November, 1968, and now
<br />Eagle on October 24, 1971, of Troop 204, and
<br />WHEREAS, said Edmund G. Kary has served in Troop 204 as
<br />Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Troop Scribe, Assistant Senior
<br />Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster, and
<br />WHEREAS, said Edmund G. Kary is a Member of the Arrow, and
<br />WHEREAS, said Edmund G. Kary is the recipient of Ad Altare Dei
<br />(God and Country) Award, and
<br />WHEREAS, said Edmund G. Kary is the recipient of the 50 Mile
<br />Award afoot and the 50 Mile Award afloat, and
<br />WHEREAS, said Edmund G. Kary participated in Troop 204
<br />expedition to Philmont Scout Ranch, New Mexico in 1969, and Tinnerman
<br />Canoe Base expedition in 1970, and
<br />WHEREAS, the reception of the .Eagle Scout Award by this
<br />deserving and outstanding youth is a noteworthy accomplishment deserving
<br />of the accolade of the entire community;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
<br />North Olmsted, Ohio:
<br />Section 1. That this Council extends its heartiest congratula-
<br />tions end best wishes to Edmund G. Kary and to his parents.
<br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby
<br />reques ted to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Edmund G. Kary.
