<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 70-176 <br />a. <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />100 TONS OF CINDERS AND 1500 TONS OF SALT, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he <br />is hereby authorized to advertise for bids of 100 tons of cinders <br />and 1500 tons of salt for use on the streets, all in accordance with <br />specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by <br />the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for <br />the said cinders and salt. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency resolution necessary for the immediate preservation of <br />the public health and safety; such necessity exists by reason of the <br />fact that snow and sleet storms may soon create hazardous conditions, <br />in consequence whereof great public inconvenience would be suffered. <br />WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period <br />allowed by law. <br />PASSED: di~-~+".~4.c,~ x/970 <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
