ar s 1 f2 CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 70- f,~ AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES OF THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 70-100, EN- ACTED JULY 7, 1970. WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee and the Finance Committee has recommended an adjustment in the pay rate of the maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line ;and WHEREAS, Council is desirous of making an adjustment in the compensation for maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio Section 1. That beginning October 1, 1969 employees holding the following positions in the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be paid the salaries and wages as hereinafter determined General Manager Superintendent Supervisor of Operations Supervisor of Maintenance Equipment Mechanic Equipment Servicemen Extra Labor Secretary $10, 000.00 to $12, 000.00 Annually $ 9, 000.00 to $11, 000.00 Annually $ 8, 000.00 to $10, 000.00 Annually $ 8, OF3U. 00 to $10, 000.00 Annually $ 3.25 to $ 4.00 Per Hour $ 2.75 to $ 3.25 Per Hour $ 1.5 0 to $ 2.75 Per Hour $ 4, 000.00 to $ 5 , 000.00 Annually which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance. A. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees and retroactive to September 1, 1968 all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of said bus line shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary until they have completed their tenth (10) year of continuous full time service, after com- pleting their tenth (10) year and prior to completion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service they shall be paid 4°~ of their base annual salary, after completion of their fifteenth (15) year and prior to completion of their twentieth (20 ) year of continuous full time service they shall be paid 5% of their annuli base salary, after completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service and thereafter they shall be paid 6% of their base annual salary. These payments shall be longevity increments and shall be paid and computed by the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. B. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees in the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. C. That mechanics and other employees in the garage of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be allowed to them the sum of One Hundred Dollars ~, , w.
