CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 70- /~v~ PAGE 3 F. For each full time member of the Police Department (excluding Auxiliary Police and School Guards) the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to a single person's rate per month towards the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalisation' and Medical Mutual premiums of said members of the Police Force, as established by Contract 5 3 YK and Contract 5 7 ZK. G. That all full time employees of the North Olmsted Police De- partment shall be entitled certain holidays during the year and shall not be required to work on these holidays, unless scheduled to work by the Chief of Police. In the event the employee works on one of the following holidays , the employee shall receive another day off from work to replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as follows :New Year's Day ; Memorial Day; Independence Day ; Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and the employee's birthday ;this provision does not apply to Auxiliary Police and School Guards. H. That all full time employees of the Police Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. Section 3. That the employees of the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted be reimbursed, not to exceed $3.00 per day, for per diem expenses while in attendance at the Police Training School established by the Cuyahoga County Commissioners at Western Reserve University which school is for a two (2) week period with ten (10) days class attendance. Section 4. That all other ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 70-153, effective September 15, 19?0, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. Section 5. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance in order that the Director can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth, and a copy to the Chief of Police. Section 6. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest period permitted by Article IV, Section 12 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
