4+w <br />d~46 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 70-~.5~a2-. <br />r- <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />EMPLOY REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS FOR THE <br />PURPOSES OF DETERMINING THE VALUE OF <br />REAL ESTATE NECESSARY TO CONSTRUCT A <br />COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City believes that it is necessary that the <br />City construct a general hospital within the limits of this municipal corporation <br />in order to provide more convenient hospital care for the ordinary illness of its <br />residents requiring hospitalization and more prompt care for its residents in <br />emergency situations ;and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City now believes that the costs of pro- <br />viding such Hospital should be paid by the users of the Hospital's services ; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, various lands necessary for the hospital site must be appraised <br />for the purposes of purchasing such lands ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council now wishes to authorize the Mayor to retain the services <br />of an appraiser in order to have the lands for hospital services appraised. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Mayor be authorized to obtain the services of a <br />qualified land appraiser in order to have the lands necessary for a hospital with- <br />in the City of North Olmsted appraised. <br />Section 2. That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that the development of the City of North <br />Olmsted may proceed as rapidly as possible.
