r¢"°"- <br />;, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 70-151 <br />BY c,c2__ <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />DIRECT CONSULTING ENGINEER, FLOYD G. <br />BROWNE AND ASSOCIATES, LIMITED, TO PREPARE <br />DETAILED DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND FURNISH <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR ADVANCED WASTEWATER <br />TREATMENT FACILITIES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Water Quality Administration has directed <br />that advanced waste water treatment facilities be made an integral part <br />of the project to expand the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant, and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to retain registered professional <br />engineers for the furnishing of the engineering services incidental <br />thereto, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Mayor be and he is directed to authorize <br />Consulting Engineers, Floyd G. Browne and Associates, Limited, to prepare <br />the detailed drawings, specifications, detailed estimates of cost and <br />furnish other engineering services incidental thereto for the advanced <br />waste water treatment facilities to be made an integral part of the <br />current improvement project. <br />Section 2. That funds be and are hereby appropriated from the <br />Sanitary Sewerage Construction Funds for the purpose of meeting this <br />obligation. <br />Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />safety, health and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that <br />immediate action is necessary to qualify for Federal Funds. WHEREFORE, <br />this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~ ~'2--- <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
