~:: <br />l r <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 70- / ~~ <br />BY G ~ ~-~~~~ <br />~. <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING CHARLES WATTS <br />FOR HIS SERVICE TO AND ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Charles Watts was first employed by the City of North Olmsted <br />on February 8, 1965, as Superintendent of the Sewage Treatment Plant, and <br />WHEREAS, his capabilities were recognized to the extent that on January <br />1, 1967, Charles Watts was appointed to the position of Superintendent of Public <br />Works ,and <br />WHEREAS, Charles Watts, as Superintendent of Public Works, gave un- <br />stintingly of his time and efforts to the City and on August 8, 1968, the City <br />Administration appointed Charles Watts to the position of Director of Public <br />Service , and <br />WHEREAS, Charles Watts, during this tenure in the employment of the <br />City of North ~~lmsted, was instrumental in increasing the efficiency of the <br />Sewage Treatment Plant, the Department of Public Works, and the entire Service <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted thereby benefiting greatly the residents <br />of the City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted now wishes to recognize <br />and acknowledge Charles Watts's contribution to the City of North Olmsted during <br />the time it was beset with problems,due to the rapid:growth, both in population <br />and commercial structures , in the City, and to further recognize the industry and <br />effort extended on behalf of the City of North Olmsted by Charles Watts. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Council of the City of North Olmsted wishes to commend <br />Charles Watts, otherwise known as "Charlie ", for services rendered to the City <br />of North Olmsted as, Superintendent of the Sewage Treatment Plant, Superintendent <br />of Public Works, and as Director of Public Service. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is instructed to forward a certified <br />and conformed copy of this resolution to Charles Watts. <br /> <br />
