t,k., <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION No. 70- /~ ~-- <br />By: <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF COUNCIL TO <br />PURCHASE AND, IF NECESSARY, APPROPRIATE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BELONG- <br />ING TO DAN L. ROMP AND TO DAN L. ROMP, ROBB N. ROMP <br />AND ARTHUR J. ROMP, JR., FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />HOSPITAL AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary in the judgment of this Council that <br />provision be made to purchase or appropriate certain properties in the <br />City of North Olmsted belonging to Dan L. Romp and to Dan L. Romp, <br />Robb N. Romp and Arthur J. Romp, Jr., said land to be used for the <br />construction of hospital and health facilities, and being more fully <br />hereinafter described, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That it is deemed necessary and it is hereby <br />declared to be the intention of this Council to purchase or appropriate <br />~arQels of land described as follows: <br />A. Parcel owned by Dan L. Romp as recorded in Volumes <br />6843 and 4664, Pages 598 and 238 of the Cuyahoga <br />County Deed Records. <br />Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County of <br />Cuyahoga and State of Ohio and known as being part <br />of Original Olmsted Township Lot No. 2, Tract 6, <br />and bounded and described as follows: <br />Beginning in the center line of the Barton Road at the <br />Northeasterly corner of land conveyed to Dan L. Romp <br />and Jane Romp by deed dated April 19, 1936 and recorded <br />in Volume 4664, Page 238 of Cuyahoga County Deed Records; <br />thence South 49° 07' 30" East along the center line of <br />the Barton Road a distance of 100.0 feet; thence South <br />40° 52' 30" West, parallel to the Southeasterly line of <br />land conveyed to Dan L. Romp and Jane Romp, as aforesaid, <br />a distance of 230.0 feet to an iron pin and passing through <br />an iron pin on the Southwesterly line of said road; <br />thence North 49° 07' ~0" West a distance of 40.0 feet <br />to an iron pin at the Southwesterly corner of land <br />conveyed to Dan L. Romp and Jane Romp, as aforesaid; <br />thence North 49°' 07' 30" West along the Southwesterly <br />line of land conveyed to Dan L. Romp and Jane Romp, as <br />aforesaid, and said Southwesterly line extended a dis- <br />tance of 192.0 feet to a point and passing through an <br />iron pin 120.0 feet from the Northwesterly corner of land <br />conveyed to Dan L. Rornp and Jane Romp, ss aforesaid; thence <br />North 47° 09' 30" East a distance of 231.38 feet to the <br />center line of the Barton Road; thence South 4~° 07' 30" <br />East along the center line of the Barton Road a distance <br />of 106.7 feet to the place of beginning, be the same more <br />or less, but subject to all legal highways. <br />
