c <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 70- /1~ <br />BY_~~~_v_i% 0 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />SECURE SERVICES OF AN APPRAISER FOR THE <br />PURPOSES OF COMBATING TAX REDUCTIONS <br />ON PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, owners of commerical property within the City of North Olmsted <br />are requesting tax reductions from the Cuyahoga County Board of Revisions ;and <br />WHEREAS, the tax reductions, if granted, would reduce the monies returned <br />to the City of North Olmsted and the North Olmsted Board of Education ;and <br />` WHEREAS, Council now wishes to authorize the Mayor to conta~zt'the North <br />Olmsted Board of Education in order to request that they share in the cost of se- <br />curing an appraiser, if necessary, in order to object to any tax reductions-~of <br />commerical property within .the City of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Mayor be and he is hereby requested to enter into an <br />agreement with the North Olmsted Board of Education for the purposes of securing <br />the services of an appraiser, if necessary in order to object to requested tax <br />reductions on commerical property located within the City of North Olmsted ,said <br />request for tax reductions being addressed to the Cuyahoga County Board of <br />Revisions. <br />Section 2. WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force <br />at the earliest period allowed by Article IV, Section 12 of the Charter of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: .,~ <br />ATTEST: <br />F /j/J/1f II/ . <br />Nora T.
