All full time employees of the Fire Department having completed <br />five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of said department <br />shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until com- <br />pletion of the tenth (10) year of continuous full time service, after which such <br />employee shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until the com- <br />pletion of the fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service, and thereafter <br />5% of their base annual salary until the completion of the twentieth (20) year of <br />continuous full time service, and during each year of full time service thereafter <br />they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />C. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments <br />of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part- <br />time services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity <br />increments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee <br />of any other benefits which may be due for part-time service as employees in the <br />Safety Department. <br />D. In addition to the regular base salary plus increments and other <br />wage increases, all regular employees of the Fire Department ,including officers <br />shall on their original appointment and during the first calendar year of their ap- <br />pointment receive $300.00 clothing allowance, and shall during each calendar <br />year thereafter receive a clothing allowance of $200.00 to be determined and dis- <br />bursed by and with the approval of the Fire Chief of the Department. <br />E. For each full time member of the Fire Department, the City of North <br />Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to a single person's rate per month towards the <br />cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization and Medical Mutual premium of said members <br />of the Fire Department, as established by Contract 53 YK and Contract 57 ZK. <br />F. That all full time members of the Fire Department shall be entitled <br />to certain holidays during the year and shall not be required to work on those <br />holidays, unless scheduled to work by the Fire Chief, In the event the employee <br />works on one of the following holidays, the employee shall receive another day <br />off from work to replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as <br />follows: New Year's Day ;Memorial Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ; <br />Thanksgiving Day ;Christmas Day ;and the employees birthday. <br />G. That all full time employees of the Ffre Department shall be entitled <br />to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) years full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 3. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, and <br />especially Ordinance No. 70-77, are hereby repealed with the effective date of <br />this Ordinance. <br />Section 4.
