a°'°' <br />.. <br />;,~,,,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 70 - /~/ <br />,. <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS <br />AND MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR <br />CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES <br />FOR THE CfTY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OH10, FOR THE <br />YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1970, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the Finance Director be and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />MUNICIPAL BUS FUND <br />$2,000 from Supplies to Tires <br />3,000 from supplies to Miscellaneous <br />Section 2. That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of the said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1970, the following additional sums be and they are hereby <br />set aside and appropriated as follows: <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from the SEWER REVENUE <br />FUND: <br />Repair by Contract .................$20,000 <br />Section4. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 5. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized <br />to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers <br />therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve <br />same, or on Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; <br />provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages <br />except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or <br />ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can <br />only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of <br />expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes <br />other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 6. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure by virtue of the fact that the transfer of funds and <br />additional appropriations is necessary for the financial operation of the <br />City of North Olmsted and, relates to the safety, health, and welfare of the <br />citizens of the City of North Olmsted, Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take <br />effect immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period <br />allowed b law. <br />PASSED:, ~ ~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~'% (,~ <br />Nora T.
