<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 70- y~ <br />~_ , <br />BY i~~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />NEW TIRES AND TUBES FOR USE BY THE CITY, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR SAME. <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends the purchase of new <br />tires and tubes for City use ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the City is in need of new <br />tires and tubes . <br />NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for new tires and tubes to be used by the <br />City according to specifications now on file in his office, and that upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted <br />for said new tires and tubes. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby determined to be necessary <br />for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the City <br />since the City is in immediate need of new tires and tubes.
