By ~ ~ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. ]0 - 76 AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS AND MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1970, AND DECLARING AND EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Finance Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: STATE HIGHWAY FUND $400.00 from Repair by Contract to Trucks ~ Equipment Section 2. That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of the said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1970, the following additional sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows: Section 3. That there be appropriated from the GENERAL FUND: Storm Water Stwdy .........................$ 4,100 Planning Commission Expenses .............. 1,500 Service Trucks ~ Equipment ................ 9,000 Mayor-Organizations ~ Travel .............. 400 Total ...................$15,000 Section 4. That there be appropriated from the SEWER REVENUE FUND: Interceptor repair ........................$50,000 Total ...................$50,000 Section 5. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. Section 6. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. Section 7. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure by virtue of the fact that the transfer of funds and additonal appropriations is necessary for the financial operation of the City of North Olmsted and, relates to the safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
