The secretarial or clerical help of the Administration Department <br />of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment, the sum of <br />$25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual <br />salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help and shall be at the <br />rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been <br />continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4. That for the Director of Public Service, for the Administrative <br />Assistant, the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to a single person's <br />rate per month towards the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization and Medical Mutual <br />premiums of said employees, as established by Contract 52YS, effective the 22nd <br />of May, 1965. <br />Section 5. That all full time employees of the Administration Department <br />shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by the Mayor in <br />emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay; New Year's Day, Memorial Day; <br />Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; and the employee's <br />birthday. <br />Section 6. That all full time employees of the Administration Department <br />shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) years full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service <br />Section 7. That the purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the Adminis- <br />tration Department and salaries to be paid, which shall not in any way be construed <br />as limiting the authority of the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted, as established <br />by the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Finance Director immediately upon its passage in order <br />that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation, as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 9. That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or <br />parts of resolutions, and especially Ordinance No. 70-35, inconsistent with the <br />provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed with the effective date of this <br />Ordinance. <br />Section 10. That this Ordinance is <br />measure necessary for the preservation of <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact <br />scale of the Administration Department for <br />of the City of North Olmsted.
