<br />~. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 70-,~/ <br />ea„ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORISING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A <br />SMALL TRUCK FOR USE BY THE SANITARY SEWER <br />SYSTEM OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND NOT <br />TO EXCEED $2, 500.00, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committe recommends that the City purchase a small <br />truck -for the Sanitary Sewer System of the Service Department ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the City is in need of a truck for <br />use by the Sanitary Sewer System of the Service Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized <br />to advertise for bids for a small truck for use by the Sanitary Serer System of the <br />Service Department, and not to exceed $2,500.00, according to the specifications <br />now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control the Mayor <br />is hereby authorised to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted for said truck. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the City <br />by virtue of the necessity of obtaining a small truck for the Sanitary Sewer System <br />for the Service Department, and to better serve the citizens of North Olmsted. <br />WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: OG~.~t.rC~ •~ 1'7~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~~, .~.~ <br />Nora T.
