The secretary or clerical help of the Finance Department of the <br />City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. <br />This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or <br />hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be at the rate of <br />$25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually <br />employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4. That all full time employees of the Finaaee Department shall <br />receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work by the Director of <br />Finance in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of p81a ; Idew Yew's Day ; <br />Memorial Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day ; Christmas <br />Day, and the employee's birthday. <br />Section 5. All full time employees of the Finance Department shall be <br />entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) years full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 6. That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby authc~ized <br />to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, but only when the Director <br />of Finance is absent from the City or on vacation. <br />Section 7. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its passage, <br />Section 8. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance are <br />hereby repealed ,especially Ordinance No. 70-26, with the effective date of this <br />Ordinance . <br />Section 9. That this Ordinance is hereb ~ declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that there is an immediate necessity of <br />adjusting compensation for the city employees, so as to make such compensation <br />commensure8e~with the requirements of the various jobs.
