,_ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 70- PAGE 2 Section 3. The secretary or clerical help of the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. Section 4. That all full time employees of the Finaaee Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work by the Director of Finance in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of p81a ; Idew Yew's Day ; Memorial Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day ; Christmas Day, and the employee's birthday. Section 5. All full time employees of the Finance Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) years full time service Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. Section 6. That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby authc~ized to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, but only when the Director of Finance is absent from the City or on vacation. Section 7. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its passage, Section 8. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed ,especially Ordinance No. 70-26, with the effective date of this Ordinance . Section 9. That this Ordinance is hereb ~ declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that there is an immediate necessity of adjusting compensation for the city employees, so as to make such compensation commensure8e~with the requirements of the various jobs.
