That the revised <br />Dover Center Road by constructing <br />said street between Lorain Road <br />gregate to $9,191.83, as reported <br />1969, by the 8ngineer of this Cit <br />Council, be and the same is hereb <br />are hereby levied and assessed u <br />both sides of Dover Center Road <br />reported as aforesaid, which assessments <br />bounding and abutting upon Dover Center <br />Ridge Road and are net in excess of any <br />of the cost and expense of improving <br />sidewalk on the easterly side of <br />Ridge Road, amounting in the ag- <br />ouncil on the 15th day of December, <br />file in the office of the 'Clerk of <br />d ecxLfirmed and that there be and <br />and lands bounding and abutting upon <br />aforesaid termini the several amounts <br />are to the foot frontage of pro~rty <br />Road between Lorain Road and Butternut <br />statutory limitation. <br />Section 2. That the assessment against each lot or parcel of land shall be <br />payable in cash within thirty days after the passage of this ordinance or at the <br />option of the owner in five annual. or ten semi-annual installments with interest <br />at the same rate as shall be borne by the bcxlds to be issued in anticipation of <br />the collection of the same. All cash payments shall be made to the Director of <br />Finance of this City. All assessments and installments thereof remaining unpaid <br />at the esxpiration of said thirty days shall be certified by the Clerk of Council <br />to the County Auditor as provided by law to be placed by him on the tax duplicate <br />and collected as other taxes are collected. <br />Section 3. 7~at the Clerk of Council shall cause a notice of the passage <br />of this ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in <br />this City and to continue on file in her office sa3.d revised assessments. <br />Section ~. The Clerk of Council is hereby directed to deliver a certified <br />copy of this ordinance to the County Auditor within twenty days after its passage. <br />Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety <br />of said City and for the further reason that the :Immediate levy of such assess- <br />ments is necessary to permit the issuance of bands to provide funds to retire <br />outstanding notes and thereby protect the credit of the City; wherefores, this <br />ordinnance shall be in full force and effect fran and immediately after its passage <br />and approval by the Ms4Yor. <br />Attest ; L ~~~ <br />~r/~1/~~'"~ <br />ore .
