r uk" <br />' ,. ` ` <br />,~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTE D <br />ORDINANCE NO. 70-,?i~ PAGE 4 <br />ten (10) years of full time continuous service, after which such employee shall <br />receive 4% of their base annual salary ,thereafter until completion of their fifteenth <br />( 15) year of continuous full time service, after which said employee shall receive <br />5% of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year of <br />continuous fill time service , and thereafter each year of full time service thereby <br />they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />Section 9. For the Plant Maintenance Mechanic in the Sanitary Sewer <br />System and for each hourly paid employee of the Service Department, Vehicle <br />Maintenance Department, Building Maintenance Department and Sanitary Sewer <br />System, the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to a single person's <br />rate per month towards the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization and Medical Mutual <br />premiums of said members of the Service Department, Vehicle Maintenance De- <br />partment, Building Maintenance Department and Sanitary Sewer System, as es- <br />tablished by Contract 52YS effective the 22nd day of May, 1965. <br />Section 10. All full time employees of the Public Works Division, Service <br />Department, Vehicle Maintenance Department, Building Maintenance Department, <br />Sanitary Sewer System and Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner shall be <br />entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) years full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 11. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, <br />and especially Ordinance No. 69-119, are hereby repealed with the effective date <br />of this Ordinance. <br />Section 12. That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a <br />copy of this Ordinance to the Division of Public Service, Public Works Commissioner, <br />and the Director of Finance in order that the Director of Finance can pay the com- <br />pensation as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 13. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact of the immediate necessity of adjusting <br />with the requirements of the various jobs. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage ,otherwise, at the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~,L9,Q <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
