r uk" ' ,. ` ` ,~ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTE D ORDINANCE NO. 70-,?i~ PAGE 4 ten (10) years of full time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4% of their base annual salary ,thereafter until completion of their fifteenth ( 15) year of continuous full time service, after which said employee shall receive 5% of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous fill time service , and thereafter each year of full time service thereby they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. Section 9. For the Plant Maintenance Mechanic in the Sanitary Sewer System and for each hourly paid employee of the Service Department, Vehicle Maintenance Department, Building Maintenance Department and Sanitary Sewer System, the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to a single person's rate per month towards the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization and Medical Mutual premiums of said members of the Service Department, Vehicle Maintenance De- partment, Building Maintenance Department and Sanitary Sewer System, as es- tablished by Contract 52YS effective the 22nd day of May, 1965. Section 10. All full time employees of the Public Works Division, Service Department, Vehicle Maintenance Department, Building Maintenance Department, Sanitary Sewer System and Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) years full time service Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. Section 11. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 69-119, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. Section 12. That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Division of Public Service, Public Works Commissioner, and the Director of Finance in order that the Director of Finance can pay the com- pensation as hereinabove set forth. Section 13. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact of the immediate necessity of adjusting with the requirements of the various jobs. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage ,otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. PASSED: ~,L9,Q ATTEST: Nora T.
