<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 70- •fifo PAGE 2 <br />hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be at the rate <br />of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been con- <br />tinually employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4. That all full time employees of the Finance Department shall <br />receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work by the Director of <br />Finance in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay; NewYear's D8y ; <br />Memorial Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day; Christmas <br />Day ; and the employee's birthday. <br />Section 5. All full time employees of the Finance Department shall be <br />entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) years full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 6. That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, but only when the Director <br />of Finance is absent from the City or on vacation. <br />Section 7. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a <br />copy of this ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its passage. <br />Section 8. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance are <br />hereby repealed, especially Ordinance No. 69-21, with the effective date of this <br />Ordinance . <br />Section 9. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that there is an immediate necessity of <br />adjusting compensation for the city employees so as to make such compensation <br />commensurate with the requirements of the various jobs. WHEREFORE, this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, other- <br />wise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~~~~ <br />ATTES . <br />Nora T.
