Rl-,~i3 PAGE 2 ( 10) years of full time continuous service ,after which such employee shall receive 4% of their base annual salary ,thereafter until the eomp~~#fon of the fifteenth (1 5) year of continuous full time service, and thereafter 5~ of their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (ZO) year of con- tinuous full time service, and during each year of full time Service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. Section 4. In computing length of service for the purpose of making pay- ments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing lon- gevity increments, and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees in the Building Department. Section 5. The Secretarial or Clerical help of the Building Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00 This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. Section 6. That the employees of the Building Department shall not be re- quired to work the following holidays :New Year's Day ;Memorial Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day ;Christmas Day, and the employees birthday, unless requested to work by the Building Commissioner in an emergency. Section 7. That all full time employees of the Building Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following shcedule ; Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) years full time service Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. Section 8. That for each full time Inspector of the Building Department and full ,time hourly employees of the Building Department, the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to a single person's rate per month towards the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization and Medical Mutual premiums of said Inspectors, as established by Contract 52YS effective the 22nd day of May, 1965. Section 9. That any other ordinancesor resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 69-22, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. Section 10. That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Building Commissioner and the Director of finance for the payment of remuneration, as set forth above , immediatley upon its passage, Section 11. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the presevation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that there is an immediate necessity of adjusting compensation for the City employees so as to make such compensation commensurate with the requirements of the various jobs.
