<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE No. 70- <br />By : l/,r~~. <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT WITH <br />H. F. LUDWIG & ASSOCIATES FOR THE PREPARATION OF A <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR RETAINING STORM WATERS TN THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, SAID CONTRACT NOT TO EXCEED <br />THREE THOUSAND ($3,000) DOLLARS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is <br />desirous of learning if the retention of storm waters can alleviate <br />some of the flooding conditions within the City, and <br />WHEREAS, Council now wishes to authorize the Mayor to <br />enter into a contract with H. F. Ludwig & Associates for the develop- <br />ment of plans for controlling said flooding, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract with H. F. Ludwig & Associates for a feasibiiity <br />study for retaining storm waters, said contract not to exceed the <br />sum of Three Thousand ($3,000) Dollars. <br />Section 2. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the public peace, safety, health <br />and welfare of the citizens of North Olmsted by virtue of the fact <br />that alleviation of the flooding conditions is the City is essential. <br />WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force imAmediately <br />upon its passage and the signature of the Mayor, otherwise at the <br />earliest period permitted by law. <br />PASSED: ~" G " ~O <br />ATTEST: e <br />~..~•- <br />Nora T.
