<br />Amended: 11-20-73 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 73-129 <br />BY: Mr. Giesser <br />State of Ohio: <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART 5, ENTITLED "GENERAL <br />OFFENSES CODE", CHAPTER 517, ENTITLED, "HEALTH, <br />SAFETY AND SANITATION", SECTION 517.07, ENTITLED <br />"LITTERING AND DEPOSIT OF GARBAGE, RUBBISH, JUNK, <br />AUTOMOBILES, ETC.", SUBPARAGRAPH C, OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Section 1. That Part 5, entitled, "General Offenses Code", Chapter 517, <br />entitled, "Health, Safety and Sanitation", Section 517.07, entitled, "Littering <br />and deposit of Garbage, Rubbish, Junk, Automobiles, etc.", Sub Paragraph C <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted now reading as follows: <br />517.07 LITTERING AND DEPOSIT OF GARBAGE, RUBBISH, JUNK, <br />AUTOMOBILES, ETC. <br />(c) "No person, firm or corporation shall, without lawful authority, <br />store, place or allow to remain motor vehicles in an inoperative <br />condition, motor vehicles unfit for further use as motor vehicles, <br />and/or automobiles parts on private or public property unless kept <br />within a building, except persons, firms or corporations engaged <br />in the automobile repair business. The repairing of automobiles <br />within the setback area of a home located in a Residential District <br />is expressly prohibited. <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />(c) No person, firm or corporation shall, without lawful authority, <br />store, place or allow to remain motor vehicles in an inoperative <br />condition, motor vehicle unfit for further use as motor vehicles, <br />and/or automobile parts on private or public property unless kept <br />within a building, except persons, firms, or corporations engaged <br />in the automobile repair business. Any repairing, if any type, <br />of automobiles in a Residential District by owners of the vehicles, <br />or members of their household, must be completed within a period <br />of seventy-two (72) hours and if repairs are such that a period <br />of time, more than seventy-two (72) hours, is necessary to <br />repair said automobile the repairs shall not be performed in any <br />Residential District located within the City of North Olmsted, <br />unless they are performed beyond the setback area, as established <br />by the Zoning Code and Zoning Map of the City of North Olmsted, or <br />within a completely enclosed structure situated on the premises. <br />Section 2. That any ordinance or parts of ordinances, or resolutions or parts <br />of resolutions, inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance is hereby repealed <br />with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />..... ,,.. - .w,>,. <br />I <br />
