.~ <br />ate, <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73- li~~ <br />BY: `«e~t..~ <br />A RESOLUTTON AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO EXPEND FUNDS FOR THE <br />MARKING OF LANES AND CROSS-WALKS ON BROOK- <br />PARK ROAD WITHIN THE CTTY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted and the County of Cuyahoga have <br />arrived at an agreement whereby the City of North Olmsted is to furnish engineering <br />services not to exceed $2, 500.00 and the County of Cuyahoga will expend funds <br />for the marking of lanes and cross-walks on Brookpark Read, within the City of <br />North Olmsted, by using Thermop~hstic at a cost of $14, 950.00 ;and <br />WHEREAS, said Thermoplastic is a more permanent type marking than the <br />regularly used paints ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council now wishes to authorize the Director of Public Service <br />to expend funds not to exceed $2, 500.00 in order that Brookpark Road lanes and <br />cross-walks can be set forth clearly and vividly. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized to expend funds not to exceed $2, 500.00 and further that the <br />Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract for the marking of the lanes and cross- <br />walks on Brookpark Road, within the City of North Olmsted, with the County of <br />Cuyahoga wherein the City of North Olmsted is obligated to pay not more than <br />$2, 500.00 and the County of Cuyahoga is to expend the sum of $14, 950.00 for <br />the placing of Thermoplastic to mark out the center line and the lane lines as <br />are necessary. <br />Section 2. WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force <br />at the earliest date permitted by Article I V, Section 12 of the Charter of the Cfty <br />of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: ~~.~1~ <br />ATTEST: <br />/, <br />Nora ~.
