«~:... <br />~.,~ ~" <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 73- ~~~- <br />BY: '" <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND ESTABLISHING <br />THE COLLECTION OF REFUSE FROM COMMERCIAL <br />AND MULTI-RESIDENTIAL ESTABLISHMENTS. <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director of Public Service <br />that considerable a~az3rit of time, labor and monies is psent by the Service <br />Department in collecting refuse of Commercial and Multi-Residental establish- <br />ments; and <br />WHEREAS, Council now wishes to limit the amount of refuse to be collected <br />from Commercial and Multi-Residential establishments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That it shall be the duty of all Commercial and Multi--Resident~l <br />establishments (as defined in the Zoning Code of the City of Nprth Olmsted) to <br />place their refuse at the curb of the street on collection day. Said refuse from the <br />Commercial and Multi-Ibesid®ntial establishments shall be in twenty (20) gallon <br />containers and shall not exceed may( 60) pounds in weight, nor shall there be <br />more than four (4) containers per establishment, if the City of North Olmsted is <br />to collect the refuse. <br />Section 2. TIC owners, operators or their agents shall remove the four (4 ) <br />twenty (20) gallon containers from~~the curb within twelve (~) hours after the <br />refuse is collected ,either by the City of North Olmsted or by prlvate Muse <br />haulers . <br />Section 3. If said refuse exceeds four (4) twenty (2Q) gallon containers , <br />it shall be the duty of the owner, operators or their agents to hire a private refuse <br />hauler to remove said refuse from the premises . <br />Section 4. That Ordinance No. 68-65 is hereby repealed with the effective <br />date of this Ordinance, and that all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this <br />Ordinance are also repealed,with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 4. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force ` <br />at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12 of the Charter of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
