Wf'~R"RAS, the substantial davelopseent and i~rova~eent of property in the area of the City of North Olmsted in the vicinity of the Broo~c- park Road -Lorain Roast intersection has caused a marked increase in traffic congestion in such area, thereby requiring, in the ~ nt of this Council, that mediate provision be made for the opening es a public street of an extension of Brookpark Road as hereinafter described to promote the free flow of traffic, the effective fighting of fires and the expeditious movement of the police force; 1~IUW, THCEtEFORE, BE IT RESOLVSD by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio: Section 1. That it is deemed necessary and it is hereby declared to be the intent#on of this Counoil to appropriate the fee side interest in and to the property hereinafter described far the purpose of opening such property as an extension of Brookpark Road, the same to be a public street and to be u~aed for such purpose, including the installation thereon and therein of such public iffiprovemsr~ts as this Cou~il nay legally be empowered to undertake. Such real property is described as follows: Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio and known as being part of Original Dover Township, Lot No. 6 and part of Origins]. Olmsted Township, Lot No. 22, Tract No. 6 and bounded and described as follows: Commencing in the intersection of the center line of Brookpark Road (160 feet wide) with the center line of Lorain Road (80 feet wide); Thence South 68° 13' 23" West a distance of 88.64 feet to an iron pin at the point of intersection of a curve connecting the old center line with the new center line of Lorain Road; Thence South 65° 59' 43" West slang a tangent a distance of ?3.53 feet to the place of beginning; Thence North 13° 04' 46" West along the Westerly line of a parcel of land conveyed to The Marathon Finance Ccnnpanry' by deed as xecorded in Volume 10313, Page 405 of Cuyahoga County Deed Records a dista~e of 200.'T2 fact to a point; Thence South 68° 00' 33" West along the prolongation of Northerly line of said The Marathon Finance Company p~reel a distance of x.98 feet to a point of curvature; Thence 248.81 feet along the arc of a curve deflecting to the left and having a radius of 440.00 feet a chord distance of 245.50 feet that bears North 50° 29' 3~" West to a point in the Easterly line of a parcel of land conveyed to The Capital.
