<br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC
<br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR TWO (2) PACKER
<br />TRtjCKS, TWO (2) TRACTORS, ONE (1) STREET SWEEPER,
<br />TWO (2) MOWERS, ONE (1) AERIAL SERVICE TRUCK, TWO
<br />(2) LEAF COLLECTING MACHINES, TWO (2) 1-1/2 TON
<br />TRUCKS, ONE (1) 2-1/2 TON TRUCK, ONE (1) 4 TON TRUCK,
<br />ONE (1) FRONT END LOADER, ONE (1) PORTABLE ASPHALT
<br />STORAGE UNIT, AT A TOTAL COST NOT TO EKCEED TWO
<br />HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($204,.000) FOR USE BY THE
<br />NORTH OLMSTED SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
<br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME.
<br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that the City purchase
<br />two packer trucks, two tractors, one street sweeper, two mowers, one
<br />aerial service truck, two leaf collecting machines, two 1-1/2 ton
<br />trucks, one 2-1/2 ton truck, one 4-ton truck, one front end loader,
<br />and one portable asphalt storage unit at a total cost not to exceed
<br />Two Hundred Thousand ($200,000) Dollars, for use by the North Olmsted
<br />Service Department,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH
<br />OLMSTED, State of Ohio:
<br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby
<br />authorized to advertise for bids for two packer trucks, two tractors,
<br />one street sweeper, two mowers, one aerial service truck, two leaf
<br />collecting machines, two 1-1/2 ton trucks, one 2-1/2 ton truck, one 4
<br />ton truck, one front end loader and one portable asphalt storage unit,
<br />for a total cost not to exceed $200,000, for use by the Nor~fi Olmsted
<br />Service Department, said equipment to be in accordance with the speci-
<br />fications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board
<br />of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contracts and
<br />execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for said new equip-
<br />ment.
<br />Section 2. WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in
<br />force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12 of the
<br />Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
