That retroactive to January 1, 1973, the compensation to be paid to the members and employees in the Service Department, the Vehicle Maintenance Department and the Building Maintenance Department sections of the Public Works Division shall be as follows Public Works Commissioner Superintendent of Public Service and Properties Section Vehicle Maintenance Department Foreman Vehicle Maintenance Department Mechanic Service Department Foreman Service Department Class A Laborer Service Department Class B Laborer Service Department Class C Laborer Service Department Class D Laborer $12, 000.00 to $16, 000.00 Annually S . 00 to fi,45 Per Hour 4.40 to 5.90 Per Hour 3.20 to 4.45 Per Hour 4.40 to 5.60 Per Hour 3.20 to 4.45 Fer Hour 2.95 to 4.20 Per Hour 2.70 to 4.45 Per Hour 1.60 to 2.80 Per Hour which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. Section 6. Employees of the Public Works Division shall be paid their regular rate of pay and shall not be required to work on the following holidays New Year's Day ;Memorial Day ;Presidents' Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ; Thanksgiving Day ; Christmas Day ,and the employee's birthday. Employees of the above department of the Public Works Division shall not be required to work on the aforesaid holidays unless required to work on said holidays by the Public Works Commissioner in case of an emergency. Section 7. All full time employees of the Public Works Division except the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner, having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of said department, or hawing been transferred from some other department by administrative appointment, shall Abe paid an additional 3R~° of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15 ) year of continuous full time service, after which said employee shelf ~e~+~ive 5% of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year ~©f con- tinuous full time service, and thereafter each year of full time service they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. Section 8. For all full time employees of the Public Works Division the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate, of the hospital- ization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Public Works Division and in the .event any full time employee of the Public Works Division is married or is the head of the family the City of North Olmsted shall contribute an additional sum of $330.00 per year toward the cost of a family hospital plan with the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual, or with the Kaiser Community Foundation Plan. Section 9. All full time employees of the Public Works Division shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule _,;~.~
