One (1) Cla s s A Laborer <br />b. Two (2) Class C Laborers <br />Page 2 <br />Section 5. That retroactive to January 1, 1973, the compensation to be paid <br />to the members and employees in the Service Department, the Vehicle Maintenance <br />Department and the Building Maintenance Department sections of the Public Works <br />Division shall be as follows <br />Public Works Commissioner <br />Superintendent of Public Service <br />and Properties Section <br />Vehicle Maintenance Department Foreman <br />Vehicle Maintenance Department Mechanic <br />Service Department Foreman <br />Service Department Class A Laborer <br />Service Department Class B Laborer <br />Service Department Class C Laborer <br />Service Department Class D Laborer <br />$12, 000.00 to $16, 000.00 Annually <br />S . 00 to fi,45 Per Hour <br />4.40 to 5.90 Per Hour <br />3.20 to 4.45 Per Hour <br />4.40 to 5.60 Per Hour <br />3.20 to 4.45 Fer Hour <br />2.95 to 4.20 Per Hour <br />2.70 to 4.45 Per Hour <br />1.60 to 2.80 Per Hour <br />which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. <br />Section 6. Employees of the Public Works Division shall be paid their <br />regular rate of pay and shall not be required to work on the following holidays <br />New Year's Day ;Memorial Day ;Presidents' Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ; <br />Thanksgiving Day ; Christmas Day ,and the employee's birthday. Employees of the <br />above department of the Public Works Division shall not be required to work on the <br />aforesaid holidays unless required to work on said holidays by the Public Works <br />Commissioner in case of an emergency. <br />Section 7. All full time employees of the Public Works Division except <br />the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner, having completed five (5) years <br />of full time continuous service as employees of said department, or hawing been <br />transferred from some other department by administrative appointment, shall Abe <br />paid an additional 3R~° of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of <br />ten (10) years full time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive <br />4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15 ) <br />year of continuous full time service, after which said employee shelf ~e~+~ive 5% <br />of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year ~©f con- <br />tinuous full time service, and thereafter each year of full time service they shall <br />receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />Section 8. For all full time employees of the Public Works Division the City <br />of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate, of the hospital- <br />ization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Public Works Division and in <br />the .event any full time employee of the Public Works Division is married or is the <br />head of the family the City of North Olmsted shall contribute an additional sum of <br />$330.00 per year toward the cost of a family hospital plan with the Blue Cross and <br />Medical Mutual, or with the Kaiser Community Foundation Plan. <br />Section 9. All full time employees of the Public Works Division shall be <br />entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />_,;~.~ <br /> <br />
