CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 73- ~~ PAGE 2 Section S. That the City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single person's rate with either the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans or with the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan for all secretarial and clerical employees of the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted. In the event the Income Tax Division Administrator is unmarried, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate, of the hospitalization cost and in the event the Income Tax Division Administrator is married or is the head of a household the City of North Olmsted shall contribute an additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of family hospitalization with either the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitali- zation Plans or Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. The Provisions of Section 5 exclude the elected Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted. Section 6. That all full time employees of the Finance Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following sehcdule: Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service Three (3) weeks vacation after,,. seven (7) years full time service Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (1S) years full time service Section 7. That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby authorized to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, but only in the event the Director of Finance is absent from the City or on vacation. Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its passage. Section 9. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, are hereby repealed, especially Ordinance No. 72-194, enacted December 5, 1972, with the effective date of this Ordinance. Section 10. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare by virtue of the fact that the Finance Department can compute pay raises at the same time for all departments. Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. PASSED : ~!~~? ATTEST: Dlora T.
