CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE 73-58 Page 2 F. That all bus driving employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled certain holidays during the year and shall not be required to work on these holidays, unless scheduled to work by the General Manager. In the event the employee works on one of the following holidays the employee shall receive another day off from work to replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as follows: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and President's Day. G. That excluding secretarial and clerical. employees in the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished, at no cost to the employees, accident and health insurance, which insurance shall pay the employee in the event he is unable to work as a result of an accident or ill health, in the sum of Forty Dollars ($40.00) per week. Said insurance shall also have accidental and death benefits with the principal sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00). The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single person's rate toward the purchase of hospitalization with the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contracts 53YK and 57ZK, for all secretarial and clerical employees of the Municipal Bus Line of the City of North Olmsted. The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Municipal Bus Line, and in the event any full time employee of the Municipal Bus Line is married or is the head of the family, the City of North Olmsted shall contribute an additional sum of $100.OC per year toward the cofit of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual; both single person's hospitalization and family hospitalization plans shall be established by Contracts 53YK and 57ZK. H. That all full time bus driving employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the f®llowing schedule: Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service Section 2. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the pro- visions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 72-85 enacted June 6, 1972, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forward a copy of this ordinance to the Director of Finance, Director of Service of the City of North Olmsted and a copy to the General Manager of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by ARticle IV, SEction 12 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. PASSED : ~/!~/~ ATTEST: Nora T.
