c <br />- 3 - <br />73 i~ <br />Section 8. During the year or years while sack notes run there shall <br />be levied on all the t~cable property in said City, in additan to all <br />other taxes, a direct tax wally ~t less than that which tld Dave been <br />levied if bonds had been issued therefor without the prior issue of said <br />notes; provided, ho~rever, that the aerount of such tax shall be reduced to the <br />extent that surplus saraings of the sanitary sewerage system shall be avail- <br />able and appropriated for the payeent of interest and principal of each motes <br />or of the bonds anticipated thereby. <br />Said tax shall be and is hereby ordered computed, certified, levied and <br />extended upon the tax dnplicatte a~ collected by the sane officers, in the <br />seam stsnner and at the same txe that taxes fox general purposes for each <br />of said years are certified, exte~ed and collected. Said tax shall be <br />placed before and in preference to all other items and for the full <br />aaount thereof. The fvsuis derived from said tax levies hereby required shall <br />be placed in a separate and distinct fund, which, together with the interest <br />collected on the sage, shall be irrevocably pledged for the pap~rsnt of the <br />principal and interest c+f said notes or the bonds in anticipation of which <br />they are issued when and as the same falls due. <br />Section 9. The Clerk is hereby directed to foraard a certified copy <br />of this ordinance to the County Auditor. <br />Section 10. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an eaeer$eacy <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, ~lfare and safety <br />of this City, and for the farther reason that the iawediate issuw~ce and <br />sale of the notes herein authorized is necessary to provide funds with which <br />to retire presently e~ststaading notes which are about to mature aid thereby <br />protect the credit of this City; wherefore, this ordinance shall tats effect <br />and be in force iamediately upon its passage and approval by the Hater. <br />PASSED : ~ ,..,_._.,,,,,,, ~a~.GL,Z-~ <br />ATTEST: G~~ / „ <br />Nora T.
