• <br />Page 2. <br />• <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORD I NANCE N0. 68 -. <br />Section 7. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately <br />forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga <br />County. <br />Section 8. That the City Finance Director is hereby <br />authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any <br />of the foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law <br />to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the <br />expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries <br />or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law <br />or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriations for contingencies can <br />only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of <br />expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes <br />other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 9. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure by virtue of the fact that the transfer of funds and <br />additional appropriations is necessary for the financial operation of the <br />City of North Olmsted and, relates to the safety, health, and welfare of the <br />citizens of the City of North Olmsted, Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take <br />effect immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period <br />allowed by law. <br />PASSED•t, <br />ATT EST: <br />r \ <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council Francis J. 0'Neil'1, resident of Council <br />APP ROV ED: / y I( 7/4 8 <br />( <br />0 Ralph V.
